Copper is antimicrobial & anti-fungal and is not harmful to your skin. Copper will not rust, but it will naturally darken and develop a green patina. Copper can leave a green mark on your skin. This is caused by a natural chemical reaction and not because your piece is low quality. This reaction happens when the copper mixes with your sweat & oils. The "stain" can be washed off and is not absorbed into your skin. If you regularly clean your Copper item, it will help prevent the green skin marks. An added bonus, Copper is 100% recyclable.
Brass has a beautiful yellow gold color. Brass can tarnish over time, develop a patina or darken. However, Brass will never rust and can be kept shiny with proper care. Brass can also leave a green mark on skin, caused by the Copper in it. Brass is very versatile and can last a very long time with proper care.
To tighten your cuff, put your other palm over the cuff and using your thumb and first finger, gently squeeze. Adjust to the point where it won't fall off, but you can still take it off. Make small adjustments at a time. adjust it gently to your size and do not make any more adjustments again, unless necessary. Repeat after me, opening and closing your cuff repeatedly is bad. All metal has a breaking point and you do not want to take it there.
