Aluminum: Aluminum will not tarnish or rust. It is lightweight, easy to maintain and can be polished. Hypoallergenic and recyclable.
Chain is made from solid marine grade 316 Stainless steel. Stainless is eco-friendly, hypoallergenic, durable and doesn't tarnish. 
Brass: Heavier weight and sturdy. Brass naturally develops a beautiful patina over time. If you prefer a shiny look, you can easily polish it back to it's original shine. 
Brass chain is made of real brass with an additional protective electroplated layer of brass.
